about

All sales of Ombilicum III will go to the Japan red Cross, thank you.

This piece was inspired by an article i read on the city
of Kokura, Japan. Kokura is the place where the second atomic bomb was due to be dropped on in august 1945. Only because of the bad weather, it was decided to opt for Nagasaki. I was wondering what sort of mixed feelings could people in Kokura have after the second bombing : relief, guilt, joy, pain.
The second track is a dark cinematic ambient line written while thinking about the bombings of Dresden in february 1945.
These unbearable events of the past centuries are all in our memory somewhere, hidden, as an evidence that, if we are certainly and constantly undergoing an evolution, our deciding leaders, and us following them, still are closer to the beast than to the wise. Peace, Bruz.
